- Following the swearing-in of the new government, the 73-year-old former Chief Justice moved out of the official residence in Baluwatar and returned to her private home in Tokha, stating she has no further political or presidential ambitions.
- Just before leaving office, her administration decided to publish a 907 page report from a high-level commission investigating the 2025 protest violence, which reportedly recommends prosecuting former leaders.
