First Phase of SDGI

The first phase integrates services across five major departments which are Revenue, Food & Civil Supplies, Social Justice and Empowerment, Tribal Development and Legal one ..

1.  Issuance of Caste (SC/ST/OBC), Income, Non-Creamy Layer and EWS certificates.
2. Services for adding/deleting members, name corrections, and issuing new or duplicate cards.
3. Certified copies from the Revenue department and ready-to-use affidavits from the Legal department

The platform is designed to be accessible and efficient Technology feature which are :

1. Services are available via the Digital Gujarat Portal, mobile apps and even WhatsApp as multi channel access
2. Utilises Aadhaar-based authentication, barcodes, and eSign facilities as seemless authentication
3.  Includes DigiLocker integration for document reuse and UPI-based payments for fees.

Objective and Impact of SDG

1. Based on the 5th report of the Gujarat Administrative Reforms Commission (GARC), the move aims to eliminate physical queues at Jan Seva Kendras , it show a valuable Administrative Reforms
2. These 20 services account for approximately 87 lakh of the 1.20 crore annual applications received by the state..
3. The system is engineered to handle up to 10 lakh simultaneous users without performance issues
4.  These services cover 87 lakh annual applications, aiming to slash processing times and improve accuracy.
5. Eliminates the need for physical visits to Jan Seva Kendras, enabling direct digital access.
