Key Features of the Third Edition
The latest iteration of VAANI has expanded significantly compared to earlier versions..
- Now covers all languages listed in the Eighth Schedule of the Constitution, including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Marathi, Sanskrit & others
- Focuses on cutting-edge fields such as Artificial Intelligence and Data Science
- Quantum Technology and Supercomputing
- Hydrogen Energy and Sustainable Materials
- Space & Defence and Agrotech
- Cybersecurity and Manufacturing 4.0
- At least one-third of the resource persons for each event must have an industry background to ensure practical relevance
Eligibility and Application
- Must be AICTE-approved. Preference is given to those with high NIRF rankings, NBA accreditation, or a minimum of 10 years of existence
- For the current cycle, applications are open from April 18 to May 17, 2026
- All proposals must be submitted through the AICTE-ATAL portal..
- Since its launch, the VAANI scheme has already facilitated the publication of over 200 research papers in Indian languages, helping democratize technical expertise across the country
